On behalf of the Local Organising Committee and host organisation, the Murdoch University Harry Butler Institute, we look forward to welcoming you to the 5th International Congress on Biological Invasions in our home city Perth, capitol of Western Australia. Through the 2026 congress, we’ll explore the theme From Threats to Solutions: Advancing Biosecurity. This theme encompasses our current efforts to address global biosecurity issues from identifying, understanding and mapping biological invasions, to predicting and managing their spread and impact. The 2026 Congress seeks to advance our biosecurity research and management – from biosecurity threats to innovative solutions.
